Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia Bulldogs had another 10-win season in 2008 and have now gone six out of seven seasons with more than 10 victories. The 24-12 win over Michigan State in the Capital One Bowl was their second Bowl in as many years and things coach Mark Richt’s sixth in eight attempts. As he embarks on his ninth season with the Bulldogs, he will be hoping that the injuries that affected the team last term won’t be such a big problem this time round. The pre-bowl practices put greater emphasis on defense and Georgia look to build on that during fall camp. With quarterback Matthew Stafford off to the NFL, Bulldogs will look to Joe Cox and Logan Gray to fight for the position which will be key if the Dawgs are to win the SEC championship for the first time since 2005.
